Sex Therapy
“I wish we had done this sooner, Amanda was so good at putting us at ease, it was so easy to talk about the difficult bits” T & L 2019
Reasons for Sex Therapy:
Loss of Desire
Differences in levels of sexual desire
Problems getting aroused
Pain During Sex
Erectile Issues
Delayed or Premature Ejaculation
Difficulties with orgasm
Porn or sex addiction
Lack of communication around sex in your relationship
You don’t have to be in a relationship to come for Sex therapy. Perhaps there are issues you are wanting to work on and find solutions. The sessions last 60 minutes and if we think that sex therapy would be helpful, we begin by taking a personal history so we can get a clear picture of what the issues are and where they might have come from. We will work out a personalised plan of exercises that you can do in the privacy of your own home. The therapy is always done at your own pace and is very collaborative and above all feels very safe and positive.
I am a member of COSRT (College of Sex and Relationship Therapists) and have a Diploma in SRT (Sex & Relationship Therapy). Sexual difficulties can affect anybody and can have a negative impact on your wellbeing, causing stress and problems with your relationship.
Initially, you can contact me by email and if you feel comfortable tell me a little bit about what is going on for you or you and your partner (just a few lines) and then we can see if we can find a suitable time of the week to make an appointment. We normally meet on the same day each week at the same time but we can be flexible. The sessions last 60 minutes and cost £60 for individuals and £70 for couples. Everything you tell me is confidential unless I was worried that you or someone else was at risk.
Payment is either by cash at the appointment or by bank transfer before meeting. As long as you give me 24 hours notice you will not be charged for any cancellations.
If you would like to ask me anymore information just please get in touch, I am here to help you.
